My name is Drew Buzzell. I’ve been teaching guitar in Los Angeles for 10 years. In that time, I’ve taught hundreds of students of all different levels and worked to develop teaching materials that communicate the most important concepts of guitar as clearly as I can. My students live in Los Angeles and all over the world; I’ve taught students as far as Alaska and China over Skype!

I have a BA in Music Theory and Composition from College of Charleston and I’m also one of the highest ranked teachers in Los Angeles with 5 stars on both Yelp! and Google.

When I was a new teacher, I would frequently hand draw all my diagrams or make copies of old notes that I had from when I was in school. Over time, I looked to find more professional materials online and there were a lot of options, but none of them covered everything I wanted and most couldn’t be enlarged for teaching larger classes without losing quality. I’ve spent years developing my personal handouts and wanted to share them with other teachers who might be looking for the same thing.

I have done a huge overhaul of all the handouts to ensure uniformity and clarity and I’ve added a lot of alternatives for teachers who don’t use my exact teaching methods. I hope you find them useful and I welcome feedback, testimonials, and suggestions! Please feel free to email me here!
